i really really dig this! the calamity inspiration is supe clear in this song. it tota;;y sounds like one of the intermission tracks. it also reminds me of something from a classic final fantasy with that flute sounding instrument in the second half. like an anthem of a city or town
thank you! im glad the inspiration ended up showing itself in the song and wasn’t lost in the process. i could for sure see the final fantasy comparison, i definitely need to brush up my knowledge on some of the soundtracks from anything other FF7 though because i know i’m missing out on a lot of really great music
i dig it, only real complaint is that it feels like it ends right before a drop, so it never releases the tension of the buildup. whats here is really dope though!
Considering making a drop to the song later on maybe, I'm pretty bad with drops and stuff. Ive only been producing for a few months
this is really really cool! honesly its hard for me to just pick a couple of things i like about this track, the whole thing is really dope! its got a killer vibe!
Thanks a lot. I'm glad you liked it :)
really cool! i could easily see this being in a popular lofi mix, while it is a bit repetitive, thats pretty much a staple of lofi, so its not bad. god work homie!
pretty cool! sounds like something you would hear in a classic doom WAD. the only real improvement that i think could be made is if you messed around more with the dynamics. like messing around with the loudness or softness of the drums, otherwise, great work!
ok, so to be completely honest, this really just sounds like someone threw a bunch of samples together and called it a day. a large portion of this song is either out of rhythm, or has several samples in very different keys. but there are decent parts of this track that sound like a very beginner version of hedeki naganuma, almost like a jet set radio track. just keep playing around with music and youll figure it out im sure, there a bajillion different youtubers who have tutorials for this stuff.
all that to say, i see lots of room for improvement, just keep on grindin my friend!
Thanks for the advice. I’m gonna be honest, I kinda rushed so it doesn’t sound as good as my other songs but I’ll try to do better next time and experiment with different samples!
straight up really good my friend, hell yeah.
